As a lifelong resident of the Glens Falls region, I’ve always felt a connection to our community and a desire to help others achieve their goals. When Glens Falls began a significant revitalization project in 2016, I knew I wanted to get involved. 

My passion for entrepreneurship and economic development, combined with the experiences I’ve gained working remotely, revealed a significant gap. Our downtown simply didn’t have a place for entrepreneurs to incubate big ideas and small businesses to work (and grow). The community needed a place not just where work can get done, but where founders could build momentum, community, and accountability around their big ideas. When you’re in a workspace that lets you gain real traction and deep focus, everything starts to change. 

That was when the idea for WorkSmart– a place where entrepreneurs, creatives, and growth-minded people from diverse industries could come together to work and collaborate– was born. In 2018, we opened our doors in a smaller space, bringing coworking to our region for the first time. We quickly gained traction and, in 2020, began planning an expansion. To realize this vision, we undertook an extensive renovation process to convert an iconic historical building into a time-honored, sophisticated space for businesses to get to work. In 2021, we opened our doors, excited to give our members a place to pursue their dreams while helping our entire region rise. 

I believe in the power of collaboration and that we accomplish more together than we ever could alone. The people we’re passionate about welcoming are those who show up with intention and genuinely want to be part of a meaningful community where they can make real progress on their goals.
