Glens Falls' Coworking Space Is Keeping You Safe!

We’ve all heard the work from home mandates being referred to as “the world’s largest work from home experiment!”. Many of us know it can be done - we’ve been doing it for a while. We also know working alone sucks!

Good news! WorkSmart is open and ready to serve those of you who need to get back to an environment that is more conducive to productivity here in the Glens Falls and Lake George region. In order to re-open we’ve had to make some changes.

I know it may seem a little overwhelming, but we’ll embrace these changes together.

The health and safety of the WorkSmart community and of those in the region is our number one priority. I have created WorkSmart’s Safety Guidelines in accordance with the NY State Industry Guidance and Reopening .

Here’s What You Can Expect from WorkSmart

 Physical Distancing:

We have reduced the number of desks and reconfigured the space to allow for a minimum distance of 6ft. between workstations.

In person gatherings have resumed, though the number of attendees is limited

Occupancy Cap: the total number of occupants is limited to no more than 50% of the maximum occupancy at any given time.

 Communication

The NY Forward Business Re-Opening Safety Plan is posted in the workspace.

Signage is posted throughout the space reminding individuals to:

  •   Adhere to physical distancing instructions

  •  Cover their nose and mouth with a face covering when 6ft of physical distancing cannot be maintained.

  • Properly store and, when necessary, dispose of PPE.

  • Report symptoms of COVID-19, and how they should do so.

  • Follow hand hygiene and cleaning and disinfection guidelines.

  • Arrows placed on the floor indicate traffic patterns to reduce bi-directional traffic.

Cleaning and Hygiene:

  • A sanitizing station is provided with hand sanitizer, a supply of rubber gloves, cleaning and disinfecting wipes and disinfecting spray

  • Handwashing soap and disposable paper towels are available at all sinks.

  • Regular cleaning and disinfecting of the entire workspace, including but not limited to restrooms, kitchen, lobby, conference room, meeting room and offices will take place using products effective against COVID-19, as noted on the registered list of products with the New York State DEC and EPA

Screening:

A daily log of members and guests entering the workspace will be maintained

Mandatory daily health screening for each individual entering the workspace will be implemented in the form of a questionnaire submitted prior to entering the workspace.

Here’s What WorkSmart Expects from Members and Guests
